Bathroom Update

I have been itching to change up some of the decor in our house. We've almost been here for 3 years now, and I feel like even in that short period of time my style has changed a bit. The white walls have been boring me, but I have been too scared to do anything too bold! Over a period of time, this beautiful green color kept popping up. I wanted to try it soooo badly, but it made me so nervous! Well, I finally got an idea - I decided I would paint my half bath that color. It seemed like a safe space for me to be able to do that because I could close the door if I didn't like it or just repaint it since it is a small room.

Once I get an idea in my head, there is no turning back (just ask my husband). So, it was full steam ahead when I finally decided to run with it. I went to the paint store and found the perfect green color (after narrowing it down with some paint samples); then I got to work. Since it was previsouly white paint on the wall, it only needed two coats...PRAISE! I managed to get it all done within a couple of afternoons and I am so pleased with the end result. I accented with gold and found the perfect wall art to match everything else. Just wait until you see the before and after!

The green color I ended up deciding on was SW Vogue Green. When I was getting my paint samples, they actually told me that this particular color is one of their best selling greens. I knew right then and there that this was probably going to be it. I will have all the accesories linked at the bottom of this post as well. Lucky enough for me, I already had a gold faucet, light fixture and handles in there, so I did not have to worry about changing those.

I am so proud of myself for painting this entire space - by myself. I am usually one to start a project and get bored so I then move on and my husband gets stuck finishing it. He did have to help me with hanging the mirror up and filling some holes in the walls (to his credit). And, very important note here, the entire space (minus the mirror because it was one I already had) was decorated from Walmart, Target, and Amazon! What're your thoughts on this project? Do you like how the color turned out, or would you paint a space this color? l have everything linked below that is available, in case you'd like to start your own home update with any of the items I used.
