Everything you need to know about Prime, Target and Walmart+ Deal Days

Lets start with my personal favorite...Amazon Prime Day and what exactly it is.

Prime days are two days dedicated to sales for those who have an Amazon Prime Membership (this is one membership I said I would never part with because we use it so much). That basically sums it up. Just an overwhelming amount of items on sale in a two day period. That's why it's best to have an idea of specific items you might be on the lookout for or follow some influencers who cover it (I'll leave my Instagram handle here, my Amazon Storefront and my Tik Tok where I will be covering and linking A LOT).

When are Prime Days you might be wondering? This year they are happening on July 11th and 12th (but there are already sales that have begun) and it won't happen again for another year. However, can it be said that specific items won't ever be sale again? I don't think so, there are sales all the time on Amazon. So, don't stress over it! There is going to be so much push, but please do not feel like you NEED ANYTHING. Sometimes I use it as an opportunity to stock up on repurchases if they are a part of the sale.

And to wrap up Prime Day...here's a little helpful tip that I heard from someone: if you have items in your cart, don't wait to purchase. Items tend to sell out quickly so it's okay to have multiple purchases (it's all free shipping anyway). So instead of clicking 'add to cart', maybe just click 'buy now' (I'm preaching to the choir over here...I'm the queen of never checking out).

Up next is Target Circle Week...another favorite of mine.

This is my own personal opinion (as I'm sure many others have), I think Target does it to compete with Amazon. And to make this easy for everyone, Target Circle Week is the exact same as Prime Day. Just a whole bunch of crazy sales. To make them stand apart, Target does it for more than two days, which sets them apart. But just like Amazon, Target has already begun some sales. Keep in mind, you do need to be a Target Circle Member. It's free to sign up for that (you get tons of other perks besides Target Deal Days). You can get items like toilet paper all the way to make-up on sale!

As for the dates of Target Circle Week, that'll be happening July 9th-July 15th. To make it easy for those that would like to sign up, I'll leave the link here. It'll take you directly to the site. It did give members a sneak peak of deals that'll be happening and they have the option to save the deals they're interest in so they can come back to them when the sale starts.

And now for the one I am the least familiar with (I will cover to the best of my knowledge), is Walmart Plus Week (they haven't done this for long).

The good thing about this one is that it eventually opens to those that do not have a Walmart Plus membership. And just like the rest of the deal days, Walmart Plus Week is just sales on top of sales on top of sales. In the little research I did for Walmart Plus, it appears they're doing half off an annual membership at this point in time. I, myself, do not have a Walmart Plus membership ( I don't shop there like I do Amazon and Target), but I have heard you get some great perks with it! I will leave that link here if it interests you at all.

Walmart plus week begins on July 10th and runs through July 13th. It opens to those who DO NOT have a membership on July 11th. They do incentivize those with memberships and let you start adding items that are going to be on sale to your cart early.

It appears that Amazon has some competition now with Target and Walmart joining in on the deal days! Target and Walmart actually do their sales longer than Amazon (purposefully I'm assuming)! Speaking from previous experience, it doesn't seem like there is too much of a price difference on similar items from each of the places, but always check because you just never know!

I hope this was helpful to those who may not know exactly what these days entail. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to leave a comment or reach out to me on social media.

Lots of Love,
